Providing Health, Housing and Social Services for whānau in Northland
We offer a range of different supports with emergency housing. Some are working to reduce the number of people in hardship or insecure housing, improve equity of outcomes, particularly for Maori, reduce harm and improve the strength of whanau, families and communities.
Based in the main centre of Kaikohe, Te Hau Ora O Ngāpuhi, also known as THOON, is charged with leading the hauora strategy for Ngāpuhi, serving whānau, hapū and hapori living within Te Whare Tapu Ō Ngāpuhi, from pēpi to kuia and kaumātua, whether Māori or non-Māori.
