Transitional Housing provides support for families with children, people with mental health and those at future risk of housing instability who are living in an Emergency Housing Special Needs Grant non – contracted motel in Kaikohe.
Based in the main centre of Kaikohe, Te Hau Ora O Ngāpuhi, also known as THOON, is charged with leading the hauora strategy for Ngāpuhi, serving whānau, hapū and hapori living within Te Whare Tapu Ō Ngāpuhi, from pēpi to kuia and kaumātua, whether Māori or non-Māori.
