Registered Nurse

Te Hau Ora O Ngāpuhi is an organisation with a mission to provide health and wellbeing to the people of Northland. Our services are whānau centred and we aim to make a difference in improving the social and wellbeing outcomes for whānau.

Our business is growing and we have the opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our team based in Kaikohe.  

You will be required to provide a high level of clinical support to the clients and team of Te Hau Ora O Ngāpuhi, including:

  • Use evidence based practice with a wellness focus to assess, plan, implement and evaluate a holistic plan of care using the principals of kaupapa Māori while partnering with the client and health care team, to address health inequalities.
  • Provide clinical peer review.
  • Ordering of clinical stores for mobile outreach.

As the successful candidate, you will have the following:

  • Registered nurse with current practicing certificate
  • Independent, Authorised vaccinator certificate. (Qualified vaccinator across the lifespan).
  • Full, clean and current driver licence.
  • Current first aid certificate, level 4.
  • Strong computer literacy; familiar with MedTech and/or Indici.
